These are answers to some frequently asked questions
1. Does ICS Meeting Viewer read ICS files from all sources?
Yes, ICS Meeting Viewer can open ICS files from any source
including Apple's Calendar, Microsoft's Outlook/Exchange
and Google Calendar.
2. What devices does ICS Meeting Viewer run on?
ICS Meeting Viewer runs on all iPad devices. Both the WiFi
only and the 3G models are supported.
3. Can ICS Meeting Viewer update my calendar?
No, the operating system on iPads does not support modification
of the Calendar by third party applications. ICS Meeting
Viewer does keep a complete history of all meetings so you
easily reference them at any time.
4. Does ICS Meeting Viewer send any data to you?
No, ICS Meeting Viewer does not send you meeting information
anywhere. All data stays on your iPad unless you elect to
use the Email feature to correspond with the other meeting
invitees.
5. ICS Meeting Viewer couldn't read my ICS file. What next?
In the event that ICS Meeting Viewer cannot decode your file,
the app will ask if you would like to send it to our engineering
department for analysis. We would appreciate this as it will
help us improve future versions of the app. Your meeting data
will not be used for any other purpose and will not be shared
with anyone else.
6. How do I RSVP a meeting request?
Next to the organizers name you will see an email icon. Just
tap this icon to open the Email Composer. The email message
will be preloaded with the correct email address and the
meeting details will be copied to the body of the email.
7. How do I email other meeting invitees?
Next to the each invitees name is an email icon. Just
tap this icon to open the Email Composer. You may also
send a message to all invitees and the organizer by tapping
the
Email All button.
8. I'm unable to send an email. Why?
Email support must be enabled on your iPad for the email
feature to work. You enable email in the Settings app on
your device. Please refer to your iPad documentation for
further assistance.
9. How do I get help about the application?
Just tap the question mark icon near the top right corner
of either the Meeting View or the List View. Handy help
bubbles will appear with detailed information. Tap anywhere
the screen to remove the help messages.
